What's going on in the Gidget household, you ask? Both kids are quiet for one thing (have I mentioned what a lifesaver LeapPad is?) after a not-so-pleasant grocery run. We did have a lovely morning at our new favorite place, though, the San Diego Botanical Garden. Oh, and the photo above is from our blueberry picking escapade last week. So fun!
But anyway, I just wanted to share what's on the homemade docket around here...
- Last weekend, I made a variation of this homemade laundry soap. So far so good! It took me forever to grate my soap with the microplane zester/grater but it's going to be WAY cheaper than the natural stuff I was buying.
This week I'm planning on making:
- homemade yogurt {in the crock pot!}
- a new version of Strawberry Freezer Jam
- a concoction of my own of Blueberry Honey Ice Cream (recipe to follow if it turns out tasty!)
- homemade honey whole wheat bread {to avoid another grocery trip and save some dough (get it? dough? bread?):)}
- hopefully more memory verse kits {2 kits currently listed} and something new and fun for the shop
