I was stoked to receive another great book to review for a blog tour recently! Tricia Goyer's newest release, Blue Like Playdough is definitely an appropriate book for mothers in all stages of the journey and I have thoroughly enjoyed getting a peek into her life, struggles and joys in this memoir. I haven't read too many memoirs and I think the genre is really growing on me. Tricia is candid and honest, and her book is an easy, entertaining read. Despite all the fun and funny stories and personal anecdotes, there are some great truths exposed, and Tricia does a great job in encouraging us moms in our journey. I really love the analogy of a mother's heart being like playdough in God's hands, able to be molded and squeezed and transformed into something beautiful by Him. I heartily recommend this book!
