10 on 10: June 2015

It's been a while since I documented the beauty in the ordinary for 10 on 10. Carrying around my big-girl camera is fun though, especially now that I was recently reminded how to use the light meter inside the viewfinder to help my manual skills. ;)

Today was our last day of school-- 2nd grade has come and gone for Gigi! We will definitely keep up some basics over the summer, but I know we are all thrilled to have a break from the daily grind of schoolwork.

1. Starting the day with coffee, planning, a rare cereal treat, and Dinah Washington crooning for us on Spotify. 2. "Peenies" and Hallee calls 'em. ;) 3. Gigi's end-of-the-year interview (from Life As Mom). 4. My favorite TJ's coloring sheet! 5. Vanilla creme frapps to celebrate the day (+ cute, unintentionally-matching kids). 6. & 7. Swimming lessons! 8. Ortho consult for Gigi. I mean, $$$$. 9. Pretty art supplies.

And because I needed a #10, I'm sharing a bonus photo from Monday night. We kicked off our women's summer discipleship group with a lovely relaxing dinner on my patio. It was perfect-- a couple of old friends, a couple of newer friends, and we even crafted a bit after dinner (decorating composition books).

Summer is off to a very fine start, if I do say so myself!

Linking up with other 10-on-10-ers over at Rebekah's lovely (new!) blog.
