March and April Memory Verses

Beth Moore Scripture Memory I'm still working on my memory verses with Beth Moore's blog community at the Living Proof Ministries blog!

Chiquita always asks me to read my verses and then still throws in an enthusiastic "Amen!" when I'm done (or when I'm halfway through- whenever inspiration strikes her really). So yesterday I made her her own 3x5 memory verse card! I wrote down an appropriate verse and let her color it and will try to remember to read through it with her.

Chiquita's verse is Colossians 3:20~

Children, obey your parents in all things, for this is well pleasing to the Lord.

Here are my verses for March and April.

March 1 Romans 3:3-5~

More than that, we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, and hope does not put us to shame, because God's love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.

March 15 Psalm 100:5~

For the Lord is good, His steadfast love endures forever, and His faithfulness to all generations.

April 1 Romans 6:11-12~

So you also must consider yourselves dead to sin and alive to God in Christ Jesus. Let not sin reign in your mortal body, to make you obey its passions.

April 15 2 Corinthians 4:7-10~

But we have this treaser in jars of clay to show that the surpassing power belongs to God and not to us. We are afflicted in every way, but not crushed; perplexed, but not driven to despair; persecuted but not forsaken; struck down but not destroyed; always carrying in the body the death of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be manifested in our bodies.
