May, June, July Memory Verses

Beth Moore's memory verse challenge continues to be an amazing discipline in my life! I hadn't shared my verses with you for a while, so here they are. I don't have all of these memorized yet, but I'm trying to read through them daily so God can imprint them on my heart.

May 1st: Proverbs 15:1,4 (ESV)

A soft answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger. A gentle tongue is a tree of life, but perverseness in it breaks the spirit.

May 15th: 2 Corinthians 4:16-18 (ESV)

So we do not lose heart. Though our outer self is wasting away, our inner self is being renewed day by day. For this light momentary affliction is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison, as we look not to the things that are seen, but to the things that are unseen. For the things that are seen are transient, but the things that are unseen are eternal.

June 1: Psalm 86:11 (ESV)

Teach me Your way, O Lord, that I may walk in Your truth; unite my heart to fear Your name.

June 15th: Psalm 86:12 (ESV)

I give thanks to You, O Lord my God, with my whole heart, and I will glorify Your name forever.

July 1st: Psalm 86:13 (ESV)

For great is Your steadfast love toward me; You have delivered my soul from the depths of Sheol.

July 15th: Philippians 4:8 (ESV)

Whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.
